geodesign was established in 1992 as a daughter of the firm "GEOSOFT Vermessungssysteme". GEOSOFT is since 1985 one of the leading suppliers of technical software for the surveying branch in Germany. GEODESIGN, on the other side, is engaged mainly with the development of their own metric cameras and the related application software.
This measuring camera development is carried out in close collaboration with Professor Dr.-Ing. Przybilla from the University of Essen and with the Technical High School in Aachen. They also give their technical support in the development of GEODESIGN`s own Photosoftware system PHOCAL.
GEOSOFT and GEODESIGN have their own office building in Geldern, a smaller town on the western border with Holland.
